Hello, my name is Bla Bla! (some things are worth trying)

So good people it is that time of year again, the time where yours truly monitors whatever it is he does and tries to be be good at that...

At the moment it is close to 9 in the morning, i am sitting infront of the computer and i am wondering why my keypad smells like coffee. I recall spilling coffee and other drinks over it multiple times last week. How could I have forgotten that for a moment, ah well nothing is better than feeling that your weak brain is getting old or slower. I am not sure what is worse, slow or old but fortunately for me I have always been the slower type so, I guess no worries there.

Anyways, it is close to 9 and i could have a cigarrette but I won't, I haven't smoked for quiet a while and if I did I only had one or two. It kinda became hard to find people that I could actually give my cigs as a present becaus I bought a pack, smoked one and then what? So I figured not the best choice to do that anymore, meaning I stopped that little thingy too.

What I do now is cheewing carrots, drinking weird shitty shakes in the morning just to be healthy...whatever, some things are worth trying.

Have You Forgotten?

I can't let you be, cause your beauty won't allow me
wrapped in white sheets,
like an angel from a bedtime story
and shut out what they say,
cause your friends are fucked up anyway
and when they come around,
somehow they feel up and you feel down.

When we were kids, we hated things our parents did
we listened low to Casey Kasem's radio show
that's when friends were nice,
to think of them just makes you feel nice
the smell of grass in spring
and October leaves cover everything.

Have you forgotten how to love yourself?

I can't believe all the good things that you do for me
sat back in a chair like a princess from a faraway place
nobody's nice, when you're older your heart turns to ice
and shut out what they say;
they're too dumb to mean it anyway

When we were kids, we hated things our sisters did
backyard summer pools and Christmases were beautiful
and the sentiment of coloured mirrored ornaments
and the open drapes
look out on frozen farmhouse landscapes

Have you forgotten how to love yourself?

MARK KOZELEK - White Christmas / Little Drummer Boy

You know, sometimes life is good n bad. As for myself today I held something in my hands which made me feel off the hook...

Call me crazy or weird or whatever but having the white vinyl 4 LP set in my hands, it was amazing and i just couldn't wait to listen to it and i kept starring at the packaging which is awesome and by the way I had to get the package from the post office and my car battery kinda died when I wanted to get back home, so I walked, popped the LP in the player and sat back...

here is the official press release by the way, and yes i got one of only 300 copies...and a signed Mark Kozelek poster....anyways:

Vinyl Films Records and Caldo Verde Records are proud to announce the vinyl debut of Mark Kozelek's two limited edition live albums, White Christmas Live and Little Drummer Boy Live. The former, released in 2001 in a limited pressing of 5000 CDs, contains such Red House Painters classics as Things Mean A Lot and Cruiser along with AC/DC covers What's Next To The Moon and Up To My Neck In You. Little Drummer Boy Live, released in 2006, marries such Sun Kil Moon greats as Salvador Sanchez and Carry Me Ohio with Modest Mouse covers Tiny Cities and Trucker's Atlas, as well as the previously unreleased Moorestown and Unlit Hallway. Both releases are now compiled in one 4-LP boxed set, with the box including the vinyl-only bonus track Have You Forgotten. White Christmas Live has been long out of print on CD, and Little Drummer Boy Live is rapidly on its way as well. Now, you can have both in this impressive vinyl box set! The release will be limited to 1000 copies on black vinyl. An ultra-limited tour/internet-only pressing of 300 copies on white vinyl will also be available, exclusively via Aural Exploits and at Mark Kozelek live shows this fall.

Ryan Adams: Cultural Learnings of Munich Concert Crowd for Make Benefit of Me

* If there are reserved seats for a Ryan Adams show, the rock part takes an hour while the acoustic set takes about 1 1/2 hours.

*If you can sit at a Ryan show, he plays songs from his whole solo stuff.

* "Call me on your way back home" is the best encore ever ever ever...

*Seeing a whole concert is actually more satisfying than just seeing half of it

* "When the stars go blue" and "Oh My Sweet Carolina" were played, thank you for that.

*One other thing, the Tonhalle where the concert took place is part of a place called Kultfabrik, which includes 3 Go Go Bars and about 5 night clubs, it was highly disturbing to leave the concert venue and step out just to hearing weired techno music...

*So long, so good, so fine...next year again, Ryan...

Giving not up on life...even though I feel like it...

This world will never be
What I expected
And if I don't belong
Who would have guessed it
I will not leave alone
Everything that I own
To make you feel like it's not too late
It's never too late...
